Description
This is a larger faerie crown design I've made, also in leather.
The techniques I used to create this is mainly water-pressing the leather to make the "branches" and then attaching them to the big main piece. You can see the small seams on the sides, and some where the main piece is starting to branch out.
Since it's water-pressed it's a bit more sturdy, leather tends to get quite a bit harder if you process it like this.
It's attached with a little white ribbon under my hair to keep it in place, which is hardly visible when I've got the long ears on. It's somewhat tricky to wear before you get the hang of it, since it's much heavier in the back-part than the front (obviously, with all that stuff there).
The long ribbons that are attached are also sewn to the branches that they hang from.
